William Robert "Bill" Horn was born January 14, 1927 and passed away December 24, 2014 after a very brief illness. Bill was the last child born to Samuel and Mildred Horn in Camden, AR.

Bill served in the U. S. Army during WWII from November 1946 until September 1949, serving in the Mediterranean Theater of Operations with the 88th infantry. He worked for many years at Davis Manufacturing and retired from Atlantic Research Corp. He was an avid hunter. Turkey hunting, elk hunting and antelope hunting were his favorites. Bill and his wife enjoyed many yearly trips out west to Wyoming and Colorado to hunt until health prevented it. Bill survived colon cancer and lived many good years enjoying his river camp.

Bill is survived by his wife of 25 years, Jean Horn; two sons, Robert and wife, Jackie of Castle Rock, CO and J. L. and wife, Suzanne of Camden; stepson, Denny Eiland of Booneville, AR; stepdaughters, Theresa Perry and husband, Mark of Camden and Denise Guess and husband, John of Chidester; five grandchildren; six step grandchildren; and eleven great-grandchildren.

Graveside service will be 1:00 PM Saturday, December 27, 2014 at Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Friday at the funeral home. Proctor Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
