John B. White, 77, of Alexandria, LA, died July 1, 2012. Mr. White was a resident of Camden for the majority of his life and was a member of Cullendale First Baptist Church. He had worked for Davis Manufacturing and later as a manager for Ritchie Grocery. He was a veteran of the United States Army and served during the Korean Conflict.
Mr. White was preceded in death by his parents, Jack O. and Ena McDonald White. He is survived by a sister, Helen W. Hutton and her husband, Henry of Pineville, LA; a niece, Vicki Kihnemann and her husband, Kevin of River Ridge, LA; a nephew, Michael Hutton and his wife, Suzanne of Mandeville, LA; three great-nephews, Taylor Kihnemann of River Ridge, LA, Peyton Kihnemann of River Ridge, LA, and Christopher Hutton of Mandeville, LA; and a great niece, Allison Hutton of Mandeville, LA.
Proctor Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. The family will receive friends at the funeral home 9:00 to 11:00 Saturday. A graveside service will be held 11:00 Saturday at Memorial Park Cemetery.
