FAYETTEVILLE — Rose Marie Masa, of Fayetteville passed away Saturday, Feb. 8, 2014, at Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville. She was born May 29, 1934, in Ferndale, Mich., to William and Rose LaFond Muether.

Rose was a homemaker and a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses. She enjoyed fishing, camping, her flowers and her garden.

Survivors include her husband, Edward J. Masa, whom she married June 19, 1954; six sons, Keith Masa and wife, Susan, of Knoxville, Iowa, Kevin Masa of Fayetteville, Karl Masa and wife, Beth, of the Philippines, Konrad Masa and wife, Gail, of Knoxville, Iowa, Kristian Masa and wife, Tamara, of Winslow and Korey Masa and wife, Heather, of Springdale; four daughters, Michelle Hoag and husband, George, of Winslow, Laurie Shooltz and husband, Bill, of Sanford, Mich., Angie McGarrah and husband, Doug, of Lowell and Trina Mosier of Rogers; one brother, William Muether Jr. and wife, Yevonne, of Homosassa, Fla.; 23 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be Saturday, Feb. 15, 2014, at 1 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in West Fork with Deedrick Rowe officiating.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Sisco Funeral Chapel of Springdale.
