Lynn Humpheries Drennan Kiser of Searcy, Arkansas died August 20, 2008.
She was born to Ora and Burt Humpheries in Step Rock, Arkansas and preceded in death by her first husband, MSGT Wayne Drennan (USAF ret.), grandson Robert Raynor IV, and brother Pete Humphries.
She leaves behind her husband of 30yrs Maj. Bill Kiser (USAR ret.); daughter Barbara Raynor and husband Bob of Searcy; grandchildren Gregory Wayne Raynor, Steven Raynor and Lynn Guenerich; great-grandchildren Lydia and Noah Guenerich, Stephanie Marambo and Robert Raynor V; great-great granddaughter Sophia Marambo; and her sister, Madge Cobb of Hot Springs.
Somebody once said, "Nothing great was ever done without an act of decision." They must have known Lynn Kiser for she was one to make firm decisions in life whether it be deciding who will be a good candidate for the Democratic Party or welcoming a new neighbor to her community. She cared deeply for other people and was constantly involved in community affairs. First as a military wife and mother, then as a person deeply concerned with the future of her country she loved so much. It spilled over into her love and leadership for her beloved bridge club.
That same fierce commitment was found in the love and pride she demonstrated when it came to her family. She came from humble beginnings and walked life with some greats in every area. She truly fit the title, "One of a Kind." She will be missed by many.
