March 5, 1920 - May 4, 1969
Mrs. Sybil Stone Wagnon, 49, of 153 Doak Ave., Camden, died Sunday afternoon at her home following an illness of several weeks. Born at Banks in 1920, she had been a resident of Camden for the past 25 years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Camden and prior to her illness was associated with Hanes Kindergarten. Survivors include her husband, Tom B. Wagnon; a son, Nick Wagnon of Camden; a daughter, Mrs. Tommie Webb of Glenwood; her mother, Mrs. Minnie Stone of Warren; two sisters, Mrs. Mabel Burns and Mrs. Lola Hardy, both of Warren; four brothers, Shelton Stone of Crossett, Frank Stone and Ollie Stone, both of Warren, and Ned Stone of Santa Fe, N.M.; and one grandchild. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the First Baptist Church. Burial will be under the direction of Proctor Funeral Home. The family has asked that memorials be made to the American Cancer Society or to the First Baptist Church of Camden. (El Dorado Times - May 5, 1969)
