Joyce Marie Walker, 68, of Judsonia, died Thursday, June 6, 2019 at the Springhill Baptist Hospital in North Little Rock. She was born February 3, 1951 in Bradford to the Newton and Violet (Clark) Piker. Joyce attended the Mt. Zion Church of God and had a strong love for the Lord. She enjoyed quilting, gardening and spending time with her family.
She is survived by her husband, Calvin Walker; daughters, Ava Harris and husband Shane and Tracy King and husband Doug; grandchildren, Ray Wortham and Teagan Wells; great-grandchildren, Thatcher and Nixon Swain; siblings, Lovesia Riddell of Mississippi, Alice Piker of Texas, Ruby Piker of Michigan, Delano Piker of Searcy, Margie Goodman of California, Pauline Dyer of Alabama, Patsy Piker of Mena, Christene Holt of Judsonia, Dewight Piker of Searcy, John Piker of Searcy and Gladys Williams of Georgia.
She is preceded in death by her parents, and siblings, Mary Hairs, Paul Piker, Effie Winchester, Ray Piker, Thelma Peden, J.K. Piker, Eugene, Alene Piker, Don Piker, Wanda Sattersfield, Terry Piker and Shirley Dillard.
Services will be conducted 11:00 a.m., Saturday at the Mt. Zion Church of God (6.5 miles south of Pleasant Plains) with Bro. Bob Majors officiating. Interment will follow in the Smith Cemetery at Bradford. Arrangements entrusted to Powell Funeral Home Bald Knob-Judsonia.
