Mrs. Leddie Mae Shankle, 40, of Camden Rt. 3, died Wednesday in a local hospital following a brief illness. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Proctor Funeral Home with the Rev. James Draper officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. She was a member of the Baptist faith. Mrs. Shankle is survived by her husband, M. M. Shankle of Camden; a daughter Mrs. Linda Ryan of Camden; three sons, James Shankle, David Shankle and Bobby Shankle, all of Camden, her father, Enon McKeen of Colgate, Okla.; three brothers, Ray McKeen, Wilson McKeen and C. E. Stanford, all of Colgate and two grandchildren. (Camden News - October 14, 1976)
