Mrs. John I. Looney, age 55, died suddenly at her home at 264 Macon Avenue, Wednesday afternoon. She is survived by her husband, John I. Looney; two sons, Homer E. Looney of El Dorado and Irving W. Looney of Camden; two daughters, Mrs. Gilbert H. Hooder of Hampton and Mrs. Charles R. LeMay of Garland, Texas; her mother Mrs. John Shaddock of Sparkman; two brothers; Dewey Shaddock of Holly Springs, and Emmett Shaddock of Garden Grove, California; two sisters Mrs. Neil Key of Sheridan, and Mrs. Homer Brazeale of Sparkman and seven grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held Friday at 2:30 p.m. at the Cullendale First Baptist Church. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Camden Funeral Service. The body will be taken to the home at 3 o'clock today to lie in state until funeral time. (Camden News - February 10, 1966)
