Richard Wayne Ponder, one day old son of Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Ponder, Conway, formerly of Camden, died in a Conway hospital at 4 p.m. Friday. Besides the parents he is survived by one brother, Ted Lamar Ponder, Conway; maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. T. S. Berley, Camden; paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Bradley Ponder, Chidester; paternal great grandmother, Mrs. Emma Ponder, Thornburg, Arkansas. Graveside services were held 11 a.m. Saturday at Camden Memorial Park cemetery by Dr. Frances Buddin, pastor First Methodist Church. Burial was by Forbis Funeral Home.
