Mr. Walter Robert Livingston, 83 of Bradford, departed this life Friday, March 15, 2019 in Columbus, Georgia. He was born November 26, 1935 in Tichnor, Arkansas to the late Robert and Iva (Ayers) Livingston.
Walter was a devoted husband, and a very caring father and grandfather. Walter was a Christian and longtime member of the Bradford Baptist Church. He enjoyed fishing and hunting.
Walter leaves behind his wife, Mrs. Lutie (Pearce) Livingston; one son, William Livingston and wife Linda of Columbus, Georgia; four grandchildren, Kristina Livingston and Robert Livingston of Savannah, Georgia, Renee Driver and husband Randy of Hogansville, Georgia, and Timothy Stacy and wife Carrie of Bradford; four great-grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Pam Livingston of Savannah, Georgia; one brother, Melvin Reaves of Tuckerman; two sisters, Ilda Kean of San Diego, California, and Juanita Humphrey and husband Hyatt of Carson City, Kentucky; two sister-in-laws, Nellie Livingston of Grand Rapids, Michigan and Ronna Livingston of Dothan, Alabama; several nieces, nephews, other family members, and a host of friends.
Walter was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Iva (Ayers) Livingston; one son, Dale Livingston; and two brothers, Van Livingston and Farrel Livingston.
Friends may visit the family at the Bradford Memorial Funeral Home Wednesday, March 20, 2019 from 6-8 pm. Services will be held Thursday, March 21, 2019 at 2:00 pm at the Bradford Baptist Church with Bro. Mike Ball officiating. Internment will follow at Smith Cemetery.
