Thomas Jerry Davis, 73, of El Dorado, passed away, Monday, October 16, 2017, at the Medical Center of South Arkansas. He was born August 27, 1944, to William Harvey and Ruby Martin Davis in Hampton, AR.
Jerry worked as a self-employed Milkman delivering for Borden Milk for 25 years and Colonial Bread for 23 years. He was a member of West Side Baptist Church. Jerry was a Veteran of the Army Reserves
Preceding him in death are his loving wife, Jane Cecelia Davis, who he married November 27, 1964; his parents; and daughter, Jennifer Davis.
Those left to cherish his memory are his son, William Scott Davis; daughter, Jeri Lyn Lee both of El Dorado; grandchildren, Tyler Davis (Whitney) of Norphlet, Jordan Lee, Josh Lee both of Little Rock, Brooklyn Bolin of El Dorado; brother, Jackie Davis of Hampton; and mother-in-law, Lucille Ivy of El Dorado.
Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 18, 2017, at Young’s.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, October 19, 2017, at West Side Baptist Church with Rev. Cody Lain and Gary Don Taylor officiating. Burial will follow at Earnest Cemetery in Calhoun County under the direction of Young’s Funeral Directors.
