LaJoyce Stone, 80, passed away August 30, 2019. She was born April 28, 1939 to Guy and Mamie Manning Bowen. Mrs. Stone was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Stone; two brothers, Wesley Bowen and Jerry Mack Bowen and a daughter, Debbie Stone. She is survived by a son, Gary Wayne Stone and his wife, Glenda; two grandchildren, Aaron Stone and his wife, Miranda and Kayla Hilliard and her husband, Henry; four great-grandchildren, Kinsley Humphries, Aubrey Stone, Ashlynn Stone and Ryann Stone; a sister-in-law, Mary Jo Bowen; a niece, Lisa Spears and her husband, William and a great-niece, Addie Evans.
Proctor Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Visitation will be 3:00-5:00 Sunday at the funeral home. A graveside service will be held 2:00 Monday at Earnest cemetery. To sign the online guest register visit www.proctorfuneralhome.com
