James Lynn Staggs Jr.,45, of Searcy passed from this life too soon on January 8, 2018 in Batesville, Arkansas surrounded by loved ones. James was born September 4, 1972 to Jake Staggs and Janice Johnston. He is survived by his parents, one daughter, Shelby Staggs of Longview, Texas; two grandchildren, Archer and Scarlett, as well as an innumerable host of other family and friends. He was employed by The Arkansas Department of Corrections in Newport. He was just a Big Teddy Bear who enjoyed motorcycles and fishing. He loved his daughter and grandchildren with an unconditional love that knew no bounds. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Mable Staggs.
There will be a visitation Wednesday from 6-8p.m. Services will be held Thursday January 11, 2018 at 5 p.m. at the Powell Funeral Home Chapel in Bald Knob. Cremation arrangements entrusted to Powell Funeral home, Bald Knob-Judsonia. www.powellfuneralhome.net
