BENTONVILLE - Eldon Keith Thomson, age 84, of Bentonville, died April 12, 2012, at the Meadows Assisted Living. He was born in Winfield, Kan., on Oct. 30, 1927, to the late William and Lula Thomson.

Eldon served his country in the U.S. Navy in World War II, and later in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. He was a dialysis technician for 33 years with the Veterans Administration Hospital in Lincoln, Neb. He was known for his faith, kindness and loving generosity and will be missed by all who knew him.

Survivors include his beloved wife of 55 years, Wilma (Ratzlaff) Thomson; son, Kevin Thomson and wife Diane of Rogers; and grandchildren Amanda and Joshua.

Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, April 16, 2012, at Rogers First Church of the Nazarene, officiated by Pastor Alan Johnson. Inurnment, with military honors, will be held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday at Fayetteville National Cemetery.

Memorials, in lieu of flowers, may be made to Rogers First Church of the Nazarene building fund, 4911 W. Pleasant Grove Road, Rogers, 72758.

Cremation arrangements are by Rollins Funeral Home of Rogers. Online condolences may be made at www.rollinsfuneral.com.
