Wayne Morris Reese, age 83 of Rogers, passed away Sept. 11, 2014. Wayne was born Aug. 26, 1931, in Cleveland, Ohio, to parents Morris and Margaret Reese. He worked for many years in real estate and was a talented musician. Wayne was united in marriage to Maureen Lawson in 1997 and they enjoyed over 17 years together. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Rogers and enjoyed spending time with his family, photography and airplanes. Wayne was preceded in death by his parents; one daughter, Cindy Reese Curtis and one sister, Sally Bayless. He is survived by his wife, Maureen Reese of the home; son, Randy Reese of Tulsa; three stepchildren; two brothers, Lewis Reese and Richard Reese and wife Susan; sister, Jo Anne Hubbard; granddaughter, Amy Hornecker and husband Jesse of Topeka; five stepgrandchildren; great-grandson, Jeffrey Hornecker; seven stepgreat-grandchildren and numerous, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Memorial Services are set for 11 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 16, 2014, at the Benton County Memorial Park Funeral Home Chapel. Inurnment will take place at 1 p.m. on Thursday at the Fayetteville National Cemetery. Arrangements are with Benton County Memorial Park Funeral Home, 3800 W. Walnut, Rogers.
