FAYETTEVILLE - Lenthon B. Clark, age 81, of Fayetteville passed away Sunday, Aug. 24, 2014, after a short illness. He was born Oct. 3, 1932, in Marshall, Texas, the son of Walter and Daisy G. Brewster Clark.

He was preceded in death by his parents, five brothers and five sisters.

He was retired from the University of Arkansas as financial director after 20 years. He also served as a volunteer at Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville for many years. He was a longtime member of Rolling Hills Baptist Church in Fayetteville.

He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Shirley Clark; a sister, Berthenia Frison of Marshall, Texas; a brother-in-law, Tyrone Leffall of Fayetteville, Ark.; and numerous nieces and nephews.

We would like to acknowledge longtime family friends, Charles Criner and Dewey Hubert.

Special thanks to Willard Walker Hospice.

Memorial service will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 10, 2014, at Rolling Hills Baptist Church in Fayetteville.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Moore's Chapel.
