SILOAM SPRINGS — Ervin Ward Taylor, 91, of Siloam Springs, Ark., died Oct. 24, 2012, at Northwest
Medical Center, Springdale, Ark. Born Sept. 12, 1921, in New Virginia, Iowa, he was the son of Ward Wesley Taylor and Cassie Taylor.
He was an Army Air Corps veteran of World War II. Ervin moved from Albert Lea, Minn., to Bentonville in 1958, and was a business manager for Siloam Springs Medical Center. He also worked at Webb Wheel and Simmons Food, Siloam Springs. He was a member of First United Methodist Church, Siloam Springs. Ervin was member of the Siloam Springs Kiwanis Club, where he was a longtime secretary and had perfect attendance for 52 years. He was also a member of the Key Lodge #7 F&AM, Order of the Eastern Star. On May 31, 1943, he married Mona Keller.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Granville Taylor.
Survivors include his wife, Mona of the home; one son, Craig Taylor and wife, Melody, of Siloam Springs, Ark.; three grandchildren, Chandra Taylor of Visalia, Calif., Luke Freeman and wife, Maria, of Colcord, Okla., and Danner Freeman and wife, Trang, of Siloam Springs, Ark.; and five great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 2:30 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 28, 2012, at Wasson Memorial Chapel, Siloam Springs, with Dr. Randy Rowlan officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery, Siloam Springs.
Visitation will be 3 to 5 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 27, 2012, at Wasson Funeral Home, Siloam Springs, Ark.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or to the First United Methodist Church, 325 E. Twin Springs, Siloam Springs, AR 72761.

SILOAM SPRINGS — Mona May Taylor, 91-year-old resident of Siloam Springs, Ark., died Feb. 21, 2013, at Fayetteville Health and Rehab Center. Born Aug. 6, 1921, in New Virginia, Iowa, she was the daughter of John Keller and Roxie Miller Keller.
She married Ervin Taylor on May 31, 1943. Mona worked as an auditor with First National Bank and Arvest Bank. She also helped to open Arkansas State Bank and Liberty Savings and Loan. Mona was a member of PEO chapter CE and T. Koinonia Study Club and Order of the Easter Star. She was also a member of First United Methodist Church in Siloam Springs.
Mona was preceded in death by her husband, two brothers and one sister.
Survivors include one son, Craig Taylor and wife, Melody, of Siloam Springs, Ark.; three grandchildren, Chandra Taylor of Visalia, Calif., Luke Freeman and wife, Marla, of Colcord, Okla., and Danner Freeman and wife, Trang, of Siloam Springs, Ark.; and five great-grandchildren.
