ENGLES, James Henry - Mr. Henry Engles of Farmington, this county, and son of Wm. Engles, died at his father's residence on Tuesday last, aged about 22 years. Young Engles occupied the position of salesman at the store of Clifford Bole's, this city. He was a very worthy young man and was highly esteemed by all who knew him. We tender our sympathies to the bereaved family.

James Henry Engles and Jennie Engles are no more. The brother died first, ten days in advance of his sister. Henry was born October 23d, 1857 and died May 18th, 1880; Jennie was born December 25th, 1860 and died May 28th, 1880, aged 22 and 19 respectively. They were the two eldest children of W.H. and Isabella Engles of Farmington. Disease and death did their work rapidly and brother and sister were soon together in the new strange world of spirits. They were greatly beloved and their places cannot be filled in the hearts of sorely bereaved parents. The entire community feels this double blow and joins its sincere sympathy with the afflicted family. They had made no open profession of faith in Christ yet they were uniformly obedient to their parents and formed no evil associations. J.A. Walden, Springdale, Ark., June 8th, 1880.

ENGLES, Jennie E. - Died on the 28th day of May 1880 at her home in Farmington, this county, Miss J.E. Engles, aged 19 years and 3 days. The deceased was kind and obedient to her parents, loving and attentive to her brothers and sisters, true and devoted to her many friends and by her many noble and exemplary qualities she made herself beloved by all who knew her. But death came and with his cold, icy hand has snatched away the flower of the once happy family, just as the morn of young womanhood was fresh with bright hopes; just when the parental solicitude had realized that hopes entertained for future usefulness were not in vain.
