December 26, 1909 - August 24, 1974
Fred M. Roberson, 64, of 714 McCullough St., died Saturday afternoon in a local hospital. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the First Baptist Church. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Proctors Funeral Home. Mr. Roberson was a member of the First Baptist Church and was printing superintendent of the Bagpak at International Paper Co. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Josephine Byrd Roberson; two sons, Dr. Fred Roberson, of Lyndon, Tex. and Major John Roberson, of the US Air Force; one stepson, Warren Peppe, of Camden; one daughter, Elinor Maleah Roberson, of the home; four brothers, Flave Roberson, Will Roberson and Wayne Roberson, all of Arkadelphia, and Paul Roberson of Gurdon; one sister, Mrs. Vesta Malcom of Okalona and Five grandchildren.
