Cloy Ray Skinner, 92, of Ozark, Arkansas died Monday, September 9, 2019 in Ozark. He worked construction, was a Reverend, a Navy Veteran, and was of the Pentecostal faith. He was born February 4, 1926 in Damascus, Arkansas to Lee and Pearl Harris Skinner. He was preceded in death by his wife of forty six years, Earline Ryan Skinner; his parents; a daughter, Sheila Edwards; three sons, Gary, Allen, and Kenny Skinner; and two grandchildren, Kelly Edwards and Gary Allen Skinner.
Cloy is survived by three daughters, Melba Skinner of Lamar, Wendy Jackson of Ozark, and Vanessa Hawkins and husband Danny of Ozark; a sister, Virgie Coleman of Pine Bluff; seven grandchildren; twenty one great grandchildren; and six great-great grandchildren.
Family will visit with friends from 6:00 until 8:00 PM Tuesday, September 10th at Shaffer Funeral Home, 2315 W. Commercial St. Ozark.
Funeral service will be held 2:00 PM Wednesday, September 11, 2019 at Shaffer Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Keith Morris and Brother George Willis officiating and burial at Mt. View Cemetery under direction of Shaffer Funeral Home. Serving as pallbearers are Robby, Jared, and Lindsey Edwards, Bradley, Brian, and Brandon Skinner, and Rusty Alberson. Honorary pallbearers are Danny Hawkins, Chris Sutterfield, Peyton Roden, and Gavin Self.

ALTUS — Earline G. Skinner, 80, of Altus died Friday, April 18, 2008, in Ozark. She was born May 25, 1927, in Lake Village. She was a homemaker and a member of Free Jesus Name Pentecostal Church of Coal Hill.

Funeral will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Shaffer Funeral Home Chapel in Ozark with burial at Mount View Cemetery in Ozark.

She is survived by her husband, Cloy of Coal Hill; two daughters, Vanessa Hawkins of Coal Hill and Wendy Shepherd of Ozark; a son, Cloy Skinner Jr. of Coal Hill; three sisters, Claudette Raney of Stuttgart, Rita Sippell of Mayflower and Phillis Gibbs of Athens, Texas; a brother, Thurman Ryan of Ada Valley; nine grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Justin Franklin, Butch and Tracy Hawkins, Todd Carter, Dale Whitson and Daniel Rosson.

The family will visit with friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
