Charles W. Handley, 84, Siloam Springs, died April 15 at Siloam Springs Memorial Hospital. Born April 9, 1892, in Falmouth, Ky., he was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Redford Handley, a member of Harvard Avenue Baptist Church, a veteran of World War I and a member of the American Legion. He was a retired employe of Tulsa, Okla., parks department and moved to Siloam Springs from Tulsa in 1963.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Hazel Handley of the home; six sons, Vincent Handley, Gary, Ind., Joe R. Handley and C.F. Handley, Kokomo, Ind., Dean Handley, Manhattan Beach, Calif., Richard Handley, Sandusky, Ohio, and Dean Handley, Kenton, Ohio; one daughter, Mrs. Janet Scott, Kenton, Ohio; one brother, Henry Handley, Shelbyville, Ind.; and 37 grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Saturday at. 2 p.m. in Wasson Memorial Chapel, Siloam Springs, with the Rev. S.R. Bynum and the Rev. James Burkett officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery under the direction of Wasson.
