Allene Baldwin, age 84, of Benton, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, August 13, 2016. She was born on December 21, 1931, in Caddo Gap the daughter of Alva Stroope and Dessie Milsapp Stroope. On January 30, 1953, she was married.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Maxine Keith; and one brother, A. D. Stroope.
She was a member of Spring Creek Baptist Church in Benton and active with Golden Hearts. She enjoyed gardening, yard work and her flowers.She is survived by her husband of 63 years, two daughters and sons-in-law, three granddaughters and their spouses, four great-grandchildren, one sister and brother-in-law, one brother and sister-in-law, several nieces and nephews; and numerous friends that loved her and will miss her always.
Graveside services will be held at 2:30 PM, Wednesday, August 17, 2016, in the Glenwood Cemetery.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM, in the Spring Creek Baptist Church in Benton.
Arrangements are under the direction of Davis-Smith Funeral Home, Hot Springs.
