Evie Carmon Conatser Chandler, 92 of Benton, AR formerly of Camden, AR passed away Thursday, May 05, 2016 at Saline Memorial Hospice Home in Bryant, AR. She was born June 2, 1923 in Mineral Springs AR to Charlie Otis & Evie White Conatser. She attended Mineral Springs AR High School & graduated from Nashville AR High School. She lived in Camden about 68 years and retired after over 25 years from West Gibson's in Camden AR. Mrs. Chandler taught 4 year old Sunday School for many years and was involved in WMU at First Baptist Church Camden AR. She enjoyed working with her flowers, quilting & sewing. She has lived in Benton since 2010.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Quitman (Q.E.) Chandler; and brothers and sisters, Bell Sanders, Faye Hooker, Sue Hoover, Troy Conatser, Truman Conatser, Almond Conatser, Junior Conatser, Bonnie McCauley, Arlis Conatser and Louise Fairchild.
She is survived by her son, Ronald Chandler (Becky) of Nevada, MO; daughter, Carol Chandler Lamb (Barton) of Benton, AR; grandchildren, Brian Chandler (Janelle) of Seattle, WA; Mark Chandler of Denver, CO; Jennifer Chandler Willis (John) of Olathe, KS; Brandon Lamb (Samantha) of Alexander, AR; Nick Lamb (Ashleigh) of Conway, AR; Corey Lamb (Lauren) of Benton, AR; great grandchildren, Madilyn Chandler, Blake Chandler all of Seattle, WA, Makenzie Lamb, Sydni Lamb, Evie Lamb, Crawford Lamb, Abigail Lamb all of Alexander, AR, Emma Lamb and Oliver Lamb both of Conway, AR, Henry Willis, Charles Willis, James Willis, and Margaret Willis all of Olathe, KS; sisters, Verna Morris, Benton AR and Bessie Forehand, Fredericksburg, TX.
Thanks to all her special caregivers at Four Seasons Assisted Living and Saline Memorial Hospice.
Funeral services for Mrs. Chandler will be 1:00 PM Monday, May 09, 2016 at Proctor Funeral Home with burial in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour before service. Casey Hough will officiate the service. Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church Camden AR, Saline Memorial Hospice House or the charity of your choice. Proctor Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
