Grace Alice Dodson, wife of Earl D. Dodson, 426 California Ave., died Saturday morning in a local hospital following a brief illness. Mrs. Dodson, well-known local matron, had lived in Camden for many years, and was a member of the First Baptist Church. Besides her husband, she is survived by four daughters, Mrs. John Harrell, Sr., and Mrs. D. P. Day of Camden, Mrs. Joseph Dudley of St. Paul, Minn., and Mrs. Charles McKaen of Garland, Texas, three sons, John, Robert, and Earl Dodson, Jr., all of Camden; two sisters, Mrs. Joe Scarboro of Camden and Mrs. H. A. Fincher of Magnolia; 17 grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Monday at Proctor's Chapel, with burial in Memorial Park Cemetery.
