Henry Luther Greene Jr., age 95 of Camden, Arkansas departed this life on October 26, 2017 to be with his Lord and Savior. Born March 26, 1922 in NW Cleveland County, AR to Henry Luther Greene Sr. and Faye Ramick Greene. He graduated from Camden High School in 1941. A member of Cullendale Baptist Church and an ordained deacon and member of the choir and Men's Quartet. He retired from International Paper Co. after 33 years. He loved hunting and collecting geneology information about his family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, N.S. Greene and Charles Vernon Greene; one sister, Zella Faye Greene; and his loving wife of 66 years, Esther Wensil Clem Greene.
He is survived by one son, H.L. Greene and wife, Francis Greene of Shelby, NC; one daughter, Betty Greene Watson and husband, James Stewart Watson of Bloomburg, TX; grandchildren, Stacy Greene Guice and husband, Jon Guice of Monroe, LA, Trisha Watson Sears and husband, Cliff Sears of Atlanta, TX, Jenny Watson Aldred and husband, Tom Aldred of Highland Village, TX and Jay Watson of Fort Worth, TX; great grandchildren, Alexis and Charlotte Guice, Olivia Sheets, Megan Sears and Jack and Lily Aldred.
Funeral services for Mr. Greene will be 10:30AM Monday, October 30, 2017 at Cullendale First Baptist Church with burial in Memorial Park Cemetery. Wade Totty will officiate the service. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday from 6:00PM to 9:00PM. Proctor Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
