January 14, 1943 - March 29, 2018
Sue was born January 14, 1942, at home, in Bearden, AR, to Lester and Laura Douglas Williamson Lindsey. She grew up in the Harmony Grove community and loved playing basketball. Sue was preceded in death by the love of her life, Billy Jack Bussell. They were married for 35 years and of their union birthed a son, William Todd. William was her pride and joy.
Sue retired from Aerojet where she was fondly known as “Mrs. Sue” by her coworkers.
Sue was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a grandson (Bret), brothers, Jesse Ray Lindsey, Henry Owen Lindsey, and Edward (Bud) Lindsey), and sisters (Pat Jones, Elizabeth Pennington and Mary Lou Johnson.
Sue was survived by son, William (Stephanie) and grandchildren: Devin, Julia and Trace; all of Benton; sisters, Martha Ann Pennington, Jane Pennington, Doris Beaver and Gladys (Don) Broach. Sue had several nieces and nephews that she thought of as her children and grandchildren, as well.
Visitation will be held at the Proctor Chapel from 12:30-2:00 on Monday, April 2, 2018. Services will be held at 2:00 PM with Lucian Lee officiating. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.
