Legendary singer and guitarist Glen Campbell was born in Billstown, Arkansas on April 22, 1936. He died in Nashville, Tennessee on August 8, 2017 after a courageous battle with Alzheimer's disease. Campbell brought country music to the mainstream at the genres first crossover star with hits like "Rhinestone Cowboy", "Wichita Lineman", and Southern Nights". He made history by Grammy awards in both the pop and country categories. In a renowned career that spanned more than six decades, and sold more than 50 million records. Campbell created an indelible mark on American pop culture as a beloved musician, singer, actor, and television personality.
