Mr. Venore Haynes, 71 of Hamburg, AR, formerly of Akron, OH, died Friday, April 15, 2011 at his brother's residence. He was a native of Hamburg, AR, and an Akron, OH resident for a number of years. He was a retiree of Babcock and Wilcox Steel Company and was a member of Phillip Grove Missionary Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Richard William and Nellie Bea Williams Haynes, one brother, Richard Willam Haynes, Jr., two sisters: Evelener O'Neill and Goldie Bea Shaw. Venore loved fishing and had a passion for making knives.
He is survived by five brothers: Joe Haynes, Clarence Haynes, wife Bertha, William Mack "Bobo" Haynes & Freddie Haynes all of Hamburg, AR, Cal Haynes of Galveston, TX, three sisters: Dorothy Cutrell of Oakland, CA, Thennie Jean Haynes of Las Vegas, NV and Jeanette Kazee, husband James of Hamburg, AR, and a host of nieces, nephews other loved ones and friends.
Funeral services are Wednesday, April 20, 2011 at 11:00 am at Phillip Grove Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Horace Ingram and Rev. John Childress, officiating. Pallbearers are Lee Troy Ware, Terry Gilliam, Ralphael Adkins, Jr., Robert Thomas, Gary Williams and George Jacobs, Jr. Burial in Phillip Grove Cemetery under the directions of Cromwell Funeral Home.
