WEST FORK — Rosslee Dudlo "Roy" Odom, 86, of West Fork, Ark., passed away Saturday, Nov. 20, 2010, at his home in West Fork. He was born June 24, 1924, in Woodson, Texas, to William Matterson and Eugeia (Lewis) Odom. He attended school in Wink, Texas, where be was a member of the Wink Wildcats High School football and track team. He was an avid beekeeper and loved to sing gospel music with his family.
In 1951, he began a business called Tri-State Termite and Pest Control, which later became A.B. Tri-State Termite & Pest Control, which be owned, until his retirement, with his oldest son, Ross. He was a U.S. Navy veteran and attended Woolsey Community Church in West Fork.
He was preceded in death by his parents; four brothers; five sisters; and his oldest daughter, Linda Kathryn Odom Bilbrey.
He is survived by his wife, Emma Odom; two sons, Ross Dale Odom of Fayetteville, Ark., and Stephen Neal Odom of West Fork, Ark.; two daughters, Sandy Gifford of Austin, Ark., and Vickie Singleton of Huntersville, N.C.; five grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. today, Nov. 23, 2010, at Nelson-Berna Funeral Home in Fayetteville.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 24, 2010, at West Fork Assembly of God Church, with the Rev. David Hines officiating. Burial will follow at West Fork Cemetery with military honors.
Memorial contributions may be made to: St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

WEST FORK — Emma A. Odom, 93, of West Fork, Ark., was born Nov. 3, 1924, in Andrews County, Texas, to Marvin Cox and Emma (Reed) Cox.
She worked with her husband as a bookkeeper in their family business, AB Tristate Termite and Pest Control as well as for the West Fork Public Schools but her main job was caring for a family. She was of the Assembly of God Faith.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Rosslee "Roy" Odom, and her oldest daughter; Linda Kathryn Odom Bilbrey. She is survived two sons; Ross Dale Odom of Fayetteville, Ark, Stephen Neal Odom of West Fork, Ark., two daughters; Sandy Gifford of West Fork, Ark., Vickie Singleton of Huntersville, N.C., one brother, Tommy Cox of Valiant, Okla., one sister, Edna Faye Hathcock of Terrell, Texas, five grandchildren, four great-grandchild, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held Thursday, Dec. 28 from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. at Nelson-Berna Funeral Home in Fayetteville. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m., Friday, Dec. 29 at West Fork Assembly of God Church officiating. Burial will follow at West Fork Cemetery.
