LaVerne Denise Harper, 44, of Little Rock, departed this life, Monday morning, October 11, 2010. She was a graduate of Camden Senior High School, Henderson State University and a member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, and Order of Eastern Star Enchanted Star.

She leaves to cherish her memory two daughters, Makenzi and Kennedi Harper; goddaughter, Arjana Bankston; three sisters, Valerie (Gerry) Rouse of Maumelle, AR, Vernesa Harper of Phoenix, AZ and Yvonne White-Miller of Little Rock; three brothers, Greg Harper of Arkadelphia, AR, Quentin Harper of Maumelle, AR and Rob Harper of New York City, New York; her parents, Evelyn and Curtis Harper of Camden, AR; her maternal grandmother, Martha McKinley of Camden, AR; three nephews, two nieces, one great nephew and niece; several aunts, uncles and a host of other relatives and friends.

A celebration of her life will be held Saturday at 11:00 AM at the Agape Community Temple of Servants, 1224 Franklin Street in North Little Rock. District Elder Frank H. Stewart officiating. Private graveside services will follow at 4:00 PM in Memorial Park Cemetery in Camden, AR. Arrangements by Proctor Funeral Home in Camden.
