Roy C. Quinney, age 77, passed away peacefully on May, 7, 2019.
He was a Vietnam veteran of the United States Army. Roy worked as a supervisor with International Paper for 42 1/2 years. He was also a longtime member of the Gurdon First Baptist Church where he served as treasurer. Roy enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with his family.e is preceded in death by his daughter Dee Quinney, four brothers, four sisters and his parents.
Roy is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Carolyn, one daughter, Crickett of Alexander, AR, the sparkle of his eye, James Hodge, one brother, Ernest of Delight, AR, two sisters, Pearl and Adell both of Brownsville, TX, and a host of other family and friends.
Graveside services will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday, May 10, 2019 at Delight Cemetery with Bro. Randy Murphy officiating.
