November 1, 1930 - October 22, 2011
Marian Madeline Bubenik Zimmer of Camden, Arkansas died peacefully, surrounded by her family, on October 22, 2011. She was born on November 1, 1930, in St. Louis, Missouri, to B. G. and Gertrude Bubenik.
She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Ivan (Joe) Zimmer; children, Michael and Robin Zimmer, Susan and Dean Mullins, Debra and Jim Murray, Richard and Julie Zimmer; grandchildren, Mickie and Scott Graves, Aubrey and Jay Harton, Kim and Aaron Fogle, Ashley Zimmer and Chad Edwards, Mandy and Chris Ham, Kristen Mullins and Jason Ellliott, Jessica and David Gilbert, Rebecca Zimmer, Joey Murray; and fourteen great-grandchildren, Brooklyn, Abby and Lillie Fogle, Adeline, John and Emily Harton, Katlyn Elliott, Noah and Madelynn Graves, Adam Zimmer, Bryce and Olivia Edwards, Andrew Finch and Sophie Ham.
She was an active member of St. Louis Catholic Church. She was a member of the Old Southern Garden Club and the Maul Extension Homemakers Club. She helped in the education building at the Ouachita County Fair for many years. She enjoyed sewing, cooking and reading. She was a happy, loving person who laughed easily and cherished time spent with family.
Visitation will be held from 6:30-7:30 p.m. followed by a Rosary Service on Tuesday, October 25, 2011, at Proctor Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, October 26, 2011, at St. Louis Catholic Church, officiated by Father Tony Robbins. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery in Camden under the direction of Proctor Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to St. Louis Catholic Church.
