Gale Jacquelene Duncan Bethea, age 74, of Camden was born May 27, 1938 in Bearden to Jim and Ruby Duncan. She died March 25, 2013 in Little Rock, AR.
She was preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Richard Duncan, Maxine Avant, Amanda Steelman, Ruby Granderson, Lavern Furr, and Cora Moon. She is survived by her husband of 53 years, James Wayne Bethea, Sr. of Camden; son, James Bethea and wife, Kim of Stuttgart; and daughter, Phyllis Burger and husband, Tom of Camden. She is also survived by her greatest joys, grandsons, Brock and Barrett Burger of Camden, Cade and Mills Bethea of Stuttgart; and many nieces and nephews.
She was a lifelong member of First United Methodist Church and worked alongside her husband in family businesses for forty years.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Tuesday at the funeral home. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Wednesday at the First United Methodist Church with burial in Memorial Park Cemetery. Proctor Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
