Julia "Judy" Dorris, 90, of Santa Teresa, New Mexico and formerly of Blytheville, passed away Tuesday, April 12, 2016 in El Paso, Texas.
Born to Harvey and Celesta (Walthal) Hicks, Judy was the bookkeeper at Briggs Furniture in West Memphis and Barton's Lumber Company.
She is preceded in death by her husband, James Dorris; her parents; brother Jim Reed Hicks; and sisters, Mary Cox, Helen McIntosh, and Johnnie Hawkins.
Judy is survived by her sons, Les Dorris of Santa Teresa, New Mexico and Bobby Dorris of Hobbs, New Mexico; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be Tuesday, April 19th at 2:00 p.m. in Elmwood Cemetery. There will be no visitation. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.cobbfuneralhome.com.
