Obituary:
Verna Lee Hendershot, age 69 of Bald Knob, died Saturday, July 7, 2007. She was born October 14, 1937 at Bald Knob to Thomas Henry Griffis and Alice Elizabeth (Doe) Griffis.
She is survived by two sons, Ricky Lee Barber and wife Regina of Bald Knob, Clarence Hendershot, Jr. and wife Maria of Carson, California; three daughters, Dora Rebecca Law and husband Tom of Denver, Colorado, Vivian Lynn Mendenhall and husband Michael of McRae, Linda Nadine Kirkland and husband Les of Searcy; two sisters, Ann Corbit and husband Paul of Bald Knob, Ruby Wilkerson of Bismark, Missouri; sixteen grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Clarence Hendershot, Sr.; twin sister, Erma Cox; and one brother, L.C. Griffis.
Funeral services Roller-Daniel Funeral Home with interment to follow at Prince Cemetery.
