Hazel Marie Beasley, 85 of Camden, AR passed away Wednesday, October 29, 2014 at Pine Hill Health and Rehabilitation Center. She was born January 29, 1929 to Perry and Ellen Brown Dempsey. She was a member of the First Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Perry and Ellen Dempsey; brothers, Daniel Dempsey, Mearle Dempsey, Earle Dempsey, Jack Dempsey and Douglas Dempsey; sisters, Mae White, Agnes Lape, Ruth Wilkins and Margaret Ellen Dempsey.

She is survived by her husband, Thomas Beasley of Camden, AR; son, Joe Paul Beasley and wife, Debbie of Camden, AR; daughters, Denise Morrison and husband, Bill of Camden, AR, Mary Thomas and husband, Mark of Fayetteville, AR and Tommye Ruth Moulder and husband, Jeff of New Caney, TX; grandchildren, Elaine Evans of Dallas, TX, Hailey Ross and Deloney Turner both of New Caney, TX, Ben Beasley of Camden, AR, Chelsea Lindsey of Fayetteville, AR and Hannah Grace Thomas of Fayetteville, AR; great grandchildren, Kendall Marie Evans, Jilian Walker and Camden Ross; brother, Edd Dempsey of Hampton, AR; and sisters, Henrietta Sanford of Dover, FL and Bea Jordan of Chidester, AR; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, November 01, 2014 at Proctor Funeral Home with burial in Memorial Park Cemetery. Dr. Richard Piles will officiate the services. Visitation will be from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM Saturday before the service. Proctor Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church, Gideon's International, National Alzheimer's Foundation or Ouachita County Medical Center Hospice. The family wishes to express their appreciation to the staff of Pine Hills Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Ouachita County Medical Center Hospice and Dr. Dan Martin for their exemplary care of Mrs. Beasley.
