FUNERAL TO BE FRIDAY FOR MRS. MINERVA HILL
Rogers, Aug. 12 — The body of Mrs. Minerva Jane Hill, a former resident of Rogers, arrived in Rogers Wednesday morning from Chicago, where Mrs. Hill died late Saturday after a few days illness with pneumonia.
The funeral service will be held Friday morning at the Callison Funeral Home conducted by Rev. Conner Morehead. Burial will be in the Rogers cemetery.
Mrs. Hill's sisters, Miss Viola and Miss Marie Noland of Chicago accompanied the body here, and were jollied by their parents, D.H. Noland east of Rogers, and Mrs. Mary Green if Rogers, three brothers, Wesley of Rogers, Sam of Greensburg, Kans., and James of Idaho, and a half-brother, Charles of Rogers.
Mrs. Hill was owner and operator of a beauty shop in Chicago. Another sister, the youngest of the family, was killed two years ago in Chicago when she fell from the 17th story of a night club in which she was one of the entertainers. She lived at the home of Mrs. Hill.
