Roger Charles Buck age 78, of Delight, passed away Thursday, December 7, 2017. He was born September 26, 1939, the child of Carl and Muriel Francis Buck.
Roger retired from Potlatch in Prescott after twenty-seven years and was a Baptist. He was a lifelong resident of Delight, coached Little League Baseball for many years and was a member of the Delight High School Bulldogs Basketball team during high school. Roger loved his kids and grandkids. He enjoyed drinking coffee with locals at Allgoods and McKnights in Delight every morning talking about the Razorbacks.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Edward Buck and Leamon Buck; three sisters, Kathleen Trammell, Bonnie Browning and Lenda Buck.
Survivors are his children, Terri Cheek (Roger) of Murfreesboro, Jerri Hagood (Donnie) of Crossett and Gary Buck (Karla) of Hot Springs; six grandchildren, Justin Cheek (Becca) of Delight, Jonathan Cheek of Nashville, Brittany Watt (T. J.) and Donald Hagood both of Crossett, Jeffery Buck (Jennifer) and Kimberly Fontenot (Bradley) both of Hot Springs and nine great-grandchildren.
