Rogers — Clarence B. (Frosty) Boyd, 75, of Rogers, died Friday in a Rogers hospital. Born Dec. 30, 1895, in Buena Vista, Tenn., he and his father were the builders of the Bentonville Electric Power plant.

Survivors are one son, Jack, of Pine Bluff; a brother, Cargile, of Fayetteville, a sister, Mrs. Alam Carlington, of Ada, Okla.; and two grandchildren.

Funeral arrangements will he announced by Burns Funeral chapel.

Clarence Boyd Dies At 75

Clarence B. "Frosty" Boyd, 75, 712 N. 5th St., Rogers, died Friday at the Rogers Memorial Hospital after a brief illness.

He was born Dec. 30, 1895, in Buena Vista, Tenn. He came to Bentonville as a young man with his father, the late John Boyd, to build an electrical power plant there. He had lived in Rogers for the past five years. Boyd was a member of the Baptist Church and a Mason.

He is survived by a son, Jack Boyd of Pine Bluff; a brother, Cargyle Boyd of Fresno, Calif.; a sister, Mrs. Alma Garlington of Ada, Okla.; and two grandchildren.

The funeral will be at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at Burns Funeral Chapel of Rogers with the Rev. Rex Easterling officiating. Burial will be in Rogers Cemetery with Burns Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
