Donald. A. Bowman, age 84, of Texarkana, Texas went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Sunday, November 29, 2015. He was born January 30, 1931 to James E. and Zora Haynes Bowman of Wilton, Arkansas.
He was a minister of the Gospel for sixty seven years and pastored churches in Arkansas, Louisiana, and Texas. He was a member of Brownstown Community Church.
Survivors includes: his wife of sixty one years, Nancy Griffin Bowman, two daughters and sons-in-law: Ruth and Don Cigainero of Texarkana, Texas; Andress and Lindsay Crain of DeKalb, Texas; six grandchildren: Daniel Baker of New York, New York, Jenny Wilder and husband Patrick of Texarkana, Texas; Sarah McDaniel and husband, Brad of Jonesboro, Arkansas; Jacob Cigainero of Paris, France, Caleb Crain and wife Paula of New Boston, Texas; Micah Crain and wife Dr. Yahaira Crain of Dallas, Texas; eleven great grandchildren; Hazel, Silas, Joe, Swint, Ellon, Doss, Josie, Griffin, Grace, Jasper, and Corban, six nieces, five nephews, a host of friends and other relatives.
