Burl Thomas Butler Jr., 62, of Searcy, Arkansas went to be with the Lord Friday, December 19, 2014. Burl was born on August 10, 1952 to the late Burl Thomas and Belva (Nalley) Butler in Ava, Missouri.
Burl enjoyed fishing, watching Sci fi movies, and especially watching the Razorback football games.
He is preceded in death by one brother, Russell Butler; three sisters, Linda Griffin, Goldie Lukemire, and Mary Brummet; and his parents.
He is survived by five brothers, Bob Butler, John Butler, Larry Butler, Jack Butler, and Danny Butler; five sisters, Sandra Chavez, Carolyn Overstreet, Elizabeth Lawson, Virginia Tate, and Nancy Atkins; many nieces, nephews, other family members, friends, and acquaintances.
Graveside Service will be held on Wednesday, December 24, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at Velvet Ridge Cemetery in Velvet Ridge, Arkansas with Interment to follow with Bro. Chris Robertson officiating.
