Roberta S. Brady, age 86, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, April 8, 2020. Roberta was born on September 28, 1933 in Strawberry, Arkansas to parents Elbert and Hayath Hugg. She graduated from Strawberry High School. She married Coleman Brady on November 22, 1953 in Arbor Grove, Arkansas.

Roberta was a member of the Sylvan Hills Church of Christ. She was a passionate supporter of the Children’s Home in Paragould, Arkansas for many years. Roberta was active in the church clothing ministry. She had also served as a 2nd grade bible school teacher for several years while living in Forrest City, Arkansas.

Roberta worked for Sears Roebuck for over 40 years. She was an Assistant Manager for over a decade and was presented with several sales awards during her career. Roberta was a detail oriented person who was a very sharp dresser! She was very dedicated to her family and to her church family and friends. She loved traveling with the Senior Bowling team throughout the state as well as following NCAA Women’s Basketball and Men and Women’s Razorback Basketball.

All of her family have special memories of her cooking Thanksgiving dinners for the family. Special memories also of going to Strawberry on Easter and hearing the Hugg siblings “cackling” (laughing).
