Jesse Lee Shands, 65, of Batesville departed this life Wednesday, August 19, 2015. Jesse was born on May 19, 1950 in Swifton to the late Curtis and Wanda (Rousey) Shands.
Jesse was an American Trucker and drove a truck for several years. He also served in the United States Air Force. He enjoyed fishing, camping, video games, and gardening, but most of all he enjoyed nature. He will be missed by many.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his loving wife Frances (Brown) Shands; four sons, Russell Shands, Robert Shands, John Shands, and Jesse C. Shands; four daughters, Renee Shands Harmon, Angela Shands, Robin Chapel, and Shauna Shands; one brother Jack Shands; two sisters, Katherine Shands and Connie Shands; and many other family members and friends.
Arrangements entrusted to Bradford Memorial Funeral Home of Bradford, Arkansas.
