Herman Lloyd Scharbor, 72 of Camden, AR was born June 27, 1942 to John Haskell and Irene Scharbor of Norphlet, AR, passed away Monday, March 09, 2015. He was a retired fireman of 23 years with the Camden Fire Department and was owner of Scharbor Fire Extinguisher Sales and Service. He loved nothing more than his family and especially his grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his twin brother, Thurman Floyd Scharbor and brother, Charles Herbert Scharbor and sister, Johnnie Ann Scharbor.
He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Martha Ann Scharbor; son, Douglas Herman Scharbor and wife, Kaci; three grandchildren, Blaise, Hunter and Bryar. Herman is also survived by two brothers, John Scharbor and wife, Carolyn of Norphlet, AR and Derald Scharbor and wife, Sandy of North Little Rock, AR; and a sister, Paula Brodnax and husband, David of West Monroe, LA.
Funeral services for Mr. Scharbor will be 10:00 AM Thursday at Proctor Funeral Home with burial in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Wednesday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Timothy United Methodist Church.
