Larry R. Launius, 67 of Camden, AR passed away Sunday, April 05, 2015 at the Ouachita County Medical Center. He was born December 19, 1947 in Bearden, AR to Jim and Reba Shoemaker Launius.
He was preceded in death by his father, Jim Launius; his mother, Reba Shoemaker Bowden; maternal grandparents, Harold and Dewey Shoemaker; and paternal grandparents, George Russell and Lula Belle Riggs Launius.
He is survived by his sons, Kevin Launius and wife, Tammy of Camden, AR and Terrill Launius of Camden, AR; brother, Jimmy Launius and wife, Ann of Ashdown, AR; sister, Gwen Downey and husband, Chester of Camden, AR; granddaughter, Casey Launius of Camden, AR; grandson, Shawn Launius of Camden, AR; nephews, Steve Launius of Texarkana, AR and Jonathan Neff of Camden, AR; niece, Andrea Saulsbury of Texarkana, TX and a host of aunts, uncles and cousins.
A graveside service will be held 10:00AM Wednesday at Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be 6:00PM to 8:00PM Tuesday at the funeral home. Proctor Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
