Sarah Gilbert, 64, of Bald Knob, died Sunday September 27, 2015. She was born May 7, 1951 in Searcy to the late William and Mary (Payne) Propes. She was a homemaker and attended the Jesus is the Way Church in Bald Knob when her health would allow.
Sarah is survived by her son, Jeff Gilbert; two sisters, Phyllis Watkins and Rose Mae Riedel; two brothers, John Propes and Jim Barham and two granddaughters, Jennifer and Jamie. She is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Gilbert; her parents and a son, James Gilbert.
Visitation will be Wednesday, September 30, 2015 from 12:30 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Powell Funeral Home in Bald Knob. Services will begin immediately following visitation at 2:00 p.m. Arrangements entrusted to Powell Funeral Home Bald Knob-Judsonia. www.powellfuneralhome.net
