Carl Lynn Thomasson, 66 of Camden, AR died Tuesday, June 19, 2018 at Fort Roots in Little Rock, AR. Carl was born December 24, 1951 in Texarkana, TX to W. N. "Buck" and Doris Pearl Bunch Thomasson.
He was a member of Trinity Missionary Baptist Church, served as Crew Chief in the United States Army during the Vietnam War, was a 1970 graduate of Fairview High School, retired truck driver and loved hunting and fishing.
He is preceded in death by his parents, W. N. "Buck" and Doris Pearl Bunch Thomasson.
He is survived by his daughter, Cathy Thomasson McAteer (Todd) of Camden, AR; son, Daniel Thomasson (Tommy Russell) of Jonesboro, AR; daughter, Jennifer Thomasson of Prairieville, LA; brother, Dwaine Thomasson (Jimmie) of Sherwood, AR; sisters, Anita Savacool (Don) of Banning, CA and Janice Bastress (Bill) of Camden, AR; two granddaughters, Katelynn McAteer and Kinley McAteer both of Camden, AR; four nieces; two nephews; and a host of cousins and friends.
Visitation will be 6-8PM Friday at Proctor Funeral Home. A graveside service will be 10:00AM Saturday at Memorial Park Cemetery with Bro. Richard Merritt and Bro. Jason Floyd officiating. Proctor Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Memorials may be made to Ouachita County Medical Center Hospice, 726 California Ave., Camden, AR 71701.
