PARKS, Jasper - {from The Gravette News} Died, at his home at Beaty, Ark. Wednesday, Dec. 14, Jasper Parks, age nearly 70 years. The deceased was born in Hanover, Germany and came to this country when a small boy. He was married to the wife who survives him about 50 years and to this union was born several children of whom are living two sons and two daughters.

PARKS, Mary - Mrs. Mary Parks, wife of the former postmaster of Beaty, Jasper Parks, deceased, died last week Thursday at Codell, Kansas where she has lived since the death of Mr. Parks. The body was accompanied here Sunday by her brother-in-law, Charles Bradford, and conveyed to Beaty from whence the funeral was held and burial followed at the Wann cemetery Mrs. Parks was about 77 years of age and was sick but a few days with pneumonia fever. She leaves two sons who live at distant parts of the U.S. and Mrs. Ralph Miller, formerly her daughter-in-law, and little Roberta, Mrs. Miller's daughter, are the remaining relatives living in this section. The Parks family had lived since quite an early day at Beaty up to the time of the death of Mr. Parks. Mrs. Parks was a member of Gravette Rebekah lodge. The News-Herald joins with the public in extending condolence.
