March 26, 1933 - September 5, 2017
Merle Sanford, 84, of Prescott, passed away Tuesday, September 5, 2017, in Arkadelphia, AR. Shee was born March 26, 1933 in Houston, TX to Forrest and Drue Tunnell Westmoreland.
Mrs. Sanford was a retired school teacher and principal.
Survivors are husband Chancelor Sanford of Prescott; son: Kevin and wife Janet Sanford of Prescott; two daughters: Karen Moon and husband Maurice of Yukon, OK, and Kristen Birdsong and husband Clay of Prescott; brother: Perry Westmoreland and wife Joann of Livingston, TX; eight grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.
Visitation will be 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm Thursday, September 7, 2017, at Pharr Funeral Home of Prescott. Graveside services are 10:00 am Friday, September 8, 2017 at the Ebenezer Cemetery, Bluff City, AR.
