LOWELL — Robert Dean Mounce, 41, of Lowell died April 23, 2000, at Rogers. He was born Oct. 14, 1958, in Albuquerque, N.M., to Odis Dean and Barbara Kitchen Mounce. He was a self-employed brick mason. His hobbies were boating and car racing.
Survivors include his wife, Jo Mounce of the home; two daughters, Argela Mounce and Jessica Mounce, both of the home; one stepson, David Yoakum of Dallas, Texas; one stepdaughter, Michelle Powers of Lowell; his mother of Lowell; two sisters, Sheila Martz of Lowell and Julie Cagle of Carson City, Nev.; one granddaughter, Brittany Powers of Lowell; paternal grandmother, Maudie Mounce of Springdale.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral Home in Springdale with Raymond Martin officiating. Burial will be in Hickory Creek Cemetery at Lowell.
Pallbearers will be Tom Martz, Chris Powers, David West, Mike Mounce, Jim Nicholas, Jim Nicholas and Joe Dean Mounce.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to cover funeral expenses or to St. Mary's Hospice in Rogers.
